Recent Results
1. Principles of building problem-oriented decision support systems for smart spaces have been developed. Service-oriented architecture for the mentioned systems has been proposed. The architecture includes a set of services for ontology maintenance, system functionality support, user support, and interactions with smart space's resources. It is proposed to build such systems as proactive context-aware recommending systems, enabling to provide the users with personalized information taking into account their preferences and to ensure the user privacy. The scenario model of problem-oriented decision support systems for smart spaces has been tested through a case study of interactions in a smart space between personal mobile tourist support service, the on-board car infotainment system (Ford SYNC), and external services [1-21, 23-32, 34-36, 38-43, 45-50].
2. Based on the analysis of modern approaches in the area of social and crowd computing, a conceptual model for hybrid crowd computing for decision support has been developed. The model connects recent research results in the areas of social computing, human-machine clouds and smart spaces. A reference model for integration of hybrid (human-machine) crowd computing into an enterprise business process framework is proposed. The model is driven by semantic integration of services and crowd members with the help of application ontology. Ontological modeling allows to effectively decompose tasks into subtasks and to search for crowd members with the required competencies [22].
3. Previously designed situation-event transitive methodology for specification and implementation of hybrid processes has been extended for the case of fuzzy logic-dynamic situations. The fuzzy predicates from the states of continuous processes can be included to situation descriptions in addition to crisp logical variables. The methodology allows specifying actions in the case of fuzzy situations with specific assessments of the truth degree. A research prototype of the fuzzy transformation rule interpreter has been developed. The experimental research of the methodology based on the examples of hybrid control system implementation has confirmed its efficiency [33, 37, 44].
